JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Manage the sale of the company’s products and services within the Freight Forwarding and Premium Logistics markets within the geographic country
  • Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales capabilities
  • Identify objectives, strategies, and action plans to initialize, develop and continually improve short and long term sales and Ebit earnings

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in marketing or business studies is preferred, or a minimum seven years of related experience or training in the Transport and Logistics Sector, or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience
  • Problem solving and analytic skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead sales teams
  • Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Sales experience up to Sales Manager level
  • Management or knowledge of how to manage P&J
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to work internationally with people of various cultures
  • Examples of project work
  • Entrepreneurial characteristics in terms of ideas and ability to share and explain
  • Understanding of the foundation of business, profitability, overhead and cost management
  • A valid driver licence

 

CORE FUNCTIONS:

  • Collaborate with Business Development Director, (BDD) in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals and direction for the company
  • Manage and develop the assgined geographic sales area to maximise sales revenues and meet corporate objectives
  • Establish and manage effective programs to develop, compensate, coach, appraise and train sales personnel, when necessary

 

DETAILS FUNCTION:

  • Perform sales activities on all available geographic accounts in consultation with BDD
  • Manage, in line with company growth, personnel and develop sales and sales supporting stuff
  • Review progress of sales and P&L development for country
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams
  • Develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products
  • Provide quarterly results assessments on productivity
  • Coordinate the use f global company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results in region
  • Establish personal contact and rapport with top echelon decision maker
  • Collaborate with BDD to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines
  • Collaborates with BDD to establish and control budget in region for sales promotion
