For our client, an award-winning and rapidly growing premium chain of hair salons in the UAE, with a total of 27 chairs across 4 locations who is operating localy, we are searching for motivated candidates for the following position:
FEMALE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR / EDUCATOR
(Premium Hair Salon)
Summary:
The Artistic Director needs to be a natural leader with a warm and nurturing yet firm demeanor. They must possess a passion for the industry and a relentless drive for consistency and quality. They will primarily be expected to inspire, mentor and develop our team of over 30 stylists, run training sessions, attend to VIP clients, and resolve escalated complaints. The Artistic Director will also be responsible for setting and updating the technical vision and creative direction of the company, and for representing the brand at the highest level across the industry.
Requirments:
- NVQ Level 3 in hair dressing (or equivalent)
- At least 15 years of experience as a hair stylist, with experience at the highest level (e.g. Master Stylist/Creative Director) with a top salon
- Deep knowledge of latest industry trends as well as fundamentals
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Passion for the industry and for developing people
Tasks:
- Support the recruitment of stylists by conducting trade tests and assessments
- Develop and manage the training calendar of all stylists
- Deliver in-salon trainings and seminars to teams
- Conduct informal coaching to staff and support in the delivery of services
- Conduct assessments of stylists and develop skill development plans
- Conduct technical on-boarding of stylists
- Assist stylists in the handling of complaints and attend to escalated complaints (with support of operations team)
- Participate in marketing and PR events (e.g. editorial shoots etc.)
Package:
- Salary range: Over AED 40K monthly salary with incentives
- A 5 day week with 30 days off in a year

- Minimum 15 years working experience as Senior Hair Stylist/colour technician/specialist in reputed organization.
- Preferred nationalities: European
- Working City: Dubai
- Holidays in a year: Yearly 30 days paid vacation with return ticket to home country (Leave Restriction: leave cannot be taken in March/June/December, during the weeks of Christmas, New Year, Eid-Al-Fitr, Eid-Al Adha, or any other peak days throughout the year)

- Other benefits: Spa service entitlement up to AED 2000/- monthly based on your sales target achievement, this benefit shall not be considered as cash benefit.
